In honor of Father’s Day, here is a song I heard for the first time this afternoon. The song is Andrew Peterson and is called “Family Man.” I can’t think of a more fitting tribute for Father’s Day:
Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads out there, and Happy Father’s Day to my Dad – one of the greatest men I have ever known. After the death of my mother when I was six, he raised four boys by himself in a day when Dad’s just didn’t do that sort of thing. As a father of four myself now, I know how tired I get, and I have a wife to share parenting responsibilities with. I cannot imagine how he did, and the older I get, the more I respect what he did. I love you Dad!
